THE COMPANY
Ghielmimport SA was established in 1972 and operates in Canton Ticino and nationwide in the building products sector, in particular, cement, rebars and building materials and equipment.
The company is currently organised in three locations:
- The main headquarters are in Mezzovico on the company’s own land that covers 14,500 m2, and where the company’s management, the rebar shaping facility and the main warehouse for building materials are located.
- The operating centre in the “Magazzini Generali” complex in Stabio has an automated system to store bulk cement, and an additional warehouse for building materials.
- Secondary office in Serocca d’Agno that houses building materials and products for gardening
Ghielmimport has developed its own business proposal during the 40 years of activity, based on the wide range of products which have been selected on the basis of the quality and certification for the Swiss market.
Important services have been implemented to support the sales of the various products.
In particular, Ghielmimport has created solutions in the following sectors: logistics, the production and installation of rebars and infrastructures which enable the majority of the products to be delivered promptly.
In Agno there is a point of resale of building materials and products for gardening.
